The Orleans Hotel And Casino
4500 West Tropicana Avenue
Las Vegas, NV
Stayed here for two nights when we were in Las Vegas for a formal event. We had a good time. The rooms are pretty nice and clean, the pool area is awesome, and the restaurants we ate at inside the casino where quite good. Visited the Mardi Gras ballroom for our formal event. They had quite a nice layout. Only two gripes- no refrigerators in the rooms and the casino was pretty smokey. I don’t know why they don’t have refrigerators, we have stayed in some low rent hotels that offer one. Seems most everyone brought a cooler filled with ice to store their food and drinks. As for the smoke in the casinos, this is something you come across in all the casinos in Vegas but it seems the other casinos do a better job of venting out all the excess smoke. It was a little overwhelming for us non-smokers in the casino. It is located a mile or so from the strip so if you are a pedestrian you will likely need to take a cab every time you want to head that way.
Each of the hotel’s 1886 guestrooms offer suite accommodations with separate seating areas and tons of Victorian-themed decor.
Make time for several meals, specifically at one of the hotel’s 12 notable restaurants.
Located just one mile west of the Strip, the hotel enjoys great views and easy access to the main thoroughfare.
