Have been a few times to the Wynn and have never been disappointed.
On our recent visit, the check-in staff recommended upgrading further to a suite as we had 2 young teenagers with us who were a bit nervous of having their own room. The suite was spectacular, and worked out about the same as having the extra room would have done, but it made the stay simply unforgettable.
If you want cheap and cheerful there are plenty of other hotels on the strip, but they are a bit tired and geared to a ‘pile it high, sell it cheap’ philosophy.
The Wynn is not significantly more expensive but leagues above any of the other popular names like Cesars, Venetian, etc. It has absolutely impeccably friendly and professional staff, excellent rooms and a good pool complex. It is light, bright and is classy throughout.
I think it is almost impossible to beat on a price:value basis. If you can afford it, upgrade to the Tower Suites as this gives you a private pool area, free wifi, separate check-in, nicer rooms, and priority on reservations.
Great experience, I highly recommend it.
