First time stay at the Westgate. Check-in went fairly smooth even with a problem with the reservation but it was quickly resolved. It’s hit or miss if you get a remodeled room, we had 2 rooms reserved (one was and one was not). Access to the monorail is very easy as the Westgate is one of the stops for the monorail. We did not eat at any of the restaurants but your paying the price if you do. Our friends who’ve stayed here before were looking for a restaurant they no longer had and the person who helped us said she could get us a free breakfast – yes there was a catch, you had to sit through a hotel presentation for this offer, so watch yourself when you hear this. And nothing in your room is free (water is $4.50, coffee is $3.50) – so read the tags before you crack one open. We did have a 50″ flat screen in our room but they are not are hooked up to HD service so the picture is very grainy. Overall t was a good stay and we would return in the future
