The property consists of Venetian, Venezia and Palazzo. We stayed at the Venetian side and received a lovely note and chocolate dipped strawberries for our anniversary. It was a VERY NICE touch. I did a thorough site inspection with Matthew from groups and viewed the canyon ranch spa, their highly rated work out facility (with an awesome rock climbing wall, juice bar and salon), private club level and rooms in each tower. Palazzo is a quieter part of the property with elegant oversized rooms. The décor was slightly more modern. Venezia was similar though the rooms looked slightly dated. I think they may have been going for “old school sheek”. The Venetian is the central point of all the action in my opinion. The night club Tao and so many other eateries, shops and venues are located here. Easy access to the food court (for less expensive dining options) and the more pricey upscale restaurants. Walgreens was also easy to access and had relatively normal prices for forgotten items, liquor and just anything you might need. Our room was amazing. Remote control drapes and privacy curtain, sunken living room and upscale furnishings, linens, robes and toiletries. The bed was slightly harder than I am used to however by the time you are ready to sleep I’m not sure it makes much difference. A bit of advice, do not even open the refrigerator. The items are pricey and you may not take the supplied items out and replace it with your own things without being charged. My advice is to request a refrigerator and leave the one they have in the room completely alone.
In all the hotel is very upscale but approachable. Elegant but comfortable. I did not feel out of place whether I had on shorts or dressed up for an evening out. Everything was accessible once you learn your way around a little. Parking was easily accessible from self parking though valet was a nice option from time to time.
The staff was friendly, helpful and always willing to accommodate. I would stay here again and again!
Boasting close to 20 restaurants and rooms that resemble an Italian villa, Each of the hotel’s 4,049 rooms comes with a sunken living room, dual flat-panel TVs and a marble bath. The resort’s full-service spa offers guests relaxing body treatments after they’ve spent an afternoon browsing the hotel’s 80 boutique shops.
