Just returned from a 5 night stay during Thanksgiving break. We had a big family reunion and we chose the Venetian and Palazzo because the rooms were bigger with pull out couches (some families had little ones). This was our first stay at this property. And this will be our last (over the years we’ve stayed at the Bellagio, the Wynn and the Encore).
The rooms are large, clean, recently remodeled with decent amenities. But we could hear the noise of the shower from the room above us every time they took one. And it was very loud.
Housekeeping and hotel staff in general are nice, helpful and accommodating.
Canyon Ranch Spa was big but classes were extra and not included in the resort fee.
Wifi was reliable and fast.
We had rooms in the Venezia tower and the Venetian tower and the Palazzo. All the rooms were very similar in size and furnishings. We preferred the Venezia tower because you could easily access your room from the reception without having to go through the madness of the casino. Distances between the three towers are long. Lots of walking (good in a way to help burn off the excess calories from the food indulgences!)
Many dining options at all different levels, from Bouchon to food court.
The casino was a ZOO: too crowded and too noisy.
Overall feel of the property (hotel and casino) is very commercial. Nothing beats the classiness of the Wynn where things are a bit calmer and higher end. This is where we will be staying to the next time we return to Vegas.
Boasting close to 20 restaurants and rooms that resemble an Italian villa, Each of the hotel’s 4,049 rooms comes with a sunken living room, dual flat-panel TVs and a marble bath. The resort’s full-service spa offers guests relaxing body treatments after they’ve spent an afternoon browsing the hotel’s 80 boutique shops.
