Because of our frequent playing of MyVegas on FB, my GF and I were able to get a free room at Sunset Station for her birthday. We ate at Babystacks nearby, walked over to see if our room was ready, which wasn’t. We left our bags with the bell desk and walked across the street to check out the Galleria Mall while waiting for a phone call that our room was ready.
Two hours and a couple of purchases later, I received that phone call so we walked back over to check in. We unpacked and went downstairs to check out the casino and put a bet in for the Monday Night game and get a Keno ticket to watch.
We then walked across the street to get snacks at the .99 store, more snacks and beer at Wal-Mart and a couple of subs at Firehouse. We had a blast eating, drinking a few beers and watching our Keno ticket on the laptop and the Monday Night game.
At about 8:30 we went downstairs to play bingo. Neither one of us won anything but thoroughly enjoyed one another’s company. The next morning we got our two free buffets and left.
We have another free room for Thursday so we’ll be going back.
