I stayed at this hotel for 4 days, by myself. First time in Las Vegas, in the city for a wedding. At first i was hesitant about staying here due to the location being off of the main strip. But I ended up loving the experience completely. exceeded my expectations.
Staff: the staff were nice, and had great customer service. as soon as i arrived, they changed my room to one of huge, expensive penthouse suites, for no extra charge. my room wasn’t ready. I didn’t have to ask or complain, they just did it. much appreciated. As i was alone, and curious, they also were very helpful in answering any question. They assisted me in multiple ways during my stay
Rooms: very very nice. as they told me, the rooms have been recently renovated so they all look very modern, clean, and new. nice designs, and color. tv, comfy bed, bathrooms, all very nice. no complaints there. i experienced both penthouse suites, and the regular rooms, got to judge both levels.
Food: they have a hooters there, supposedly biggest in the world. its nice. right beside the pool. also the buffet in the lobby was great for options. there a mcdonalds, and other options for food at the hotel as well.
pools: great for a party. there are multiple places in Vegas for a great pool party experience, this one of them. good place to be in the heat.
Club: one of the best things about the hotel in my opinion, was the rooftop bar/club called Ghostbar. i recommend anyone staying here to check it out. if for nothing else, go for the view. amazing.
location: although the Palms is technically not on the strip, which is where everything this, it doesn’t matter. its a 5 minute drive away. there are free shuttles all day everyday that will bring you there, as well as buses and taxis that cost only couple dollars. so you can enjoy all the hype and fun of the vegas strip, without staying in it, when it’s time to sleep.
Overall, great place, great first experience in Vegas. i’d definitely come back/recommend it.
