Let’s see where do I Start. I took my mom to Vegas for her 50th bday. We stayed @ Palace Station COURTYARD July22,2015-July27,2015……. I changed hotels at the last minute which I truly regret. When we arrived to Vegas airport at 3pm the Palace Station shuttle did not pick us up til after 4pm (bad sign #1), finally at 4:20 they came . We arrived at the hotel excited & ready to enjoy our Vacation. Upon checking in, I found out that the COURTYARD is pretty much a motel style part of Palace Station. I asked did they have any tower rooms available, like the beautiful pictures on the website but they were sold out. The courtyard Looked nothing like the website. The room didn’t even have a tub (small shower only). I tried to keep a positive attitude but I was upset & disappointed.I didn’t show it because I didn’t wanna ruin my mom Vacay/gift. The room was on the 1st floor, it was very old & smelled like hot sweat & mildew. Also the room was filthy, dust that have been there seems like for years, the wall paper was coming off the wall. Not to mention the view from out our window was horrible. The AC unit was old & dusty it blew out musty/dry/smelly air. We stay in this room for 2 nights ,the third day I got sick from the mildew smell & dusty air that I was inhaling.(I’m pregnant & have allergies) so it seem 10x worst. My mom & I left the room & place a DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door but house keeper entered our room anyway. They left new towels & made one bed . Did they service the room? NO Of course not what they were doing in my room who knows. But we contacted the manager with all our concerns & we were moved to another room. Also house keeping lied & said it was no sign on the door . (Please take picture of your do not disturb sign on the door if you stay here)…. Can’t believe that the room was so bad that we had to change rooms. They moved us to the second floor in the courtyard it was a little better, still old dirty carpet & motel like. The issue with this room was the hair dryer didn’t work properly. I called the front desk & they fixed the issue immediately. (I left out the part about me & my mom being bitten by something in the room several times during our stay) I took lots of pictures. Overall My experience at Palace Station was very unpleasant & I will never stay there again nor will I recommend it to anyone………YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR !!!!!!
