Loved our stay at the MGM, stayed here for 5 nights in April (spring break) we are from UK so we didn’t know it was spring break until we got here as we travelled here from LA & NY.
Pros: Amazing beds, blackout blinds, nice shower/bath. Hotel had good shows, we watched David Copperfield – great show, even now months later I’m trying to work out his illusions. Restaurants are good, lots of choices & variety, some reasonable some expensive, you need to make reservations for the evening during the day or you could be editing a long time! Great pools & grounds lovely.
Cons: long check in que on arrival, we waited 1hour to check in, there were a lot of people checking in but the staff were just slow, taking there time between checking people in.
It is a bit of a maze, could be clearer signs.
One day we had a lazy afternoon by the pool when a swarm of wasps just appeared & im not joking literally thousands of wasps swarmed over the pool guests, loads of people ran off screaming, I just wrapped up in my towel, it was scary, the wasps all went to a hive that was in the gardens surrounding the pool, the staff said they didn’t realise the hive was there.
I would return for sure.
MGM Grand Hotel and Casino one of the largest hotels in the world, the MGM Grand offers enough entertainment to keep the whole family on their toes. Dining includes 10 award-winning restaurants . The hotel’s five pools of the Wet Republic span more than six acres, while the lazy river appears to have no end in sight. The casino is, as one would expect, enormous.
The MGM Grand has a convenient South Strip location and has its own stop on the Las Vegas Monorail.
