This was our first stay at a Mandarin Oriental Hotel and our first time in Las Vegas. We were celebrating our 10 year wedding aniversary and when we called to make the reservation we got a good deal and got upgraded to a corner suite overlooking The Strip.
When we arrived, we did so by car and the valet took care of the car and we could swiftly check in to our room. No queues at all (this is to be compared to the casino-hotels in Vegas which seem to have long queues to check in).
Our room was wonderful, great layout with a big bathroom with double sinks, a giant bathtub, shower and a separate toilet. There was a small TV inserted in the mirror in the bathroom!. Big livingroom with sofa, TV, desk and nice minibar with bigger than normal liquer bottles. The bedroom also had a TV and a nice big bed. We were very pleased with the room! Floor to ceiling windows with views overlooking The Strip.
As a surprice they had a nice bottle of bubbly and chocolate dipped strawberries for us since it was our wedding aniversary, a very nice gesture!
The hotel has a very nice pool area with cabanas you can “rent” for USD 300, witch we did on our last day and if you order food and drinks up to the rent fee is complimentary, so if you plan to hang by the pool a full day, I can recommend this. The food at the pool cafe was very good. We also want to thank especially Monica, one of the waitresses at the pool area, she really took good care of and pampered us!
The gym is well equipped, there is complimentary water and fruit.
We did not try the restaurants at MO, but we did have a drink in the bar and that is really nice with great views!
Staying at the MO was one of our best hotel experiences! They really pamper you and Think of both the Little details and to give the best of service!

Featuring heated lap pools, luxurious rooms with plush beds and 42-inch LCD TVs, and a “sky lobby” with spectacular views, the smoke-free Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas pampers our guests in serene Asian style. The non-gaming Mandarin Oriental is housed in the first 23 floors of a 47-story building, with only 392 guestrooms for a more intimate boutique feel than other Strip hotels.
“Wow” is what you’ll say to the superb views from the 23rd floor “sky lobby.” The sumptuous but understated rooms feature views of the city/mountains or Strip. You’re probably never going to fall asleep on something as dreamy as the beds with 480-thread-count Egyptian-cotton linens and pillowtop mattresses.
It’s non-stop high tech, with 42-inch LCD TVs, DVD players, CD players, iPod docks, and best of all, bedside electronic control of lights, temperature, entertainment, and draperies. Retreat to the lavish outdoor deck for a view of the city, a swim in one of two heated lap pools, a soak in a spa tub, or a plunge in the plunge pool.
The Mandarin is right on the Strip in the ravishing City Center complex, which also includes Aria and the luxury Crystals shops.
