First time to Vegas and this resort had it all with top quality services of all kinds. Highly recommend in all areas. We found the best value for your gambling dollar was tournament poker. $40 buy-in with a $20 re-up if you bust within the first hour. Drinks flow for free while you play, so those $9.00 drinks are free for the 1-2 hours you’re sitting at the poker tables. The casino is spread out with lots of space to move around without feeling like you’re bumping into people every time you turn around. We attended a concert on the “beach” and it was quite fun with wading in the wave pool during the concert. Drink prices were steep, but the concert itself was only $35/person. There is a liquor store across the street from the Mandalay Bay complex, so you can walk there and load up on booze and mixers to save a bundle by filling up in your room with the good old Solo cup. Don’t forget the lemons/limes/cherries.
