Stayed at the Mandalay bay on business.
Check-in was a disappointment as we were told there were no non-smoking rooms even thought that is what we booked. Front desk lady was rude and had a take it or leave it attitude. We decided to check out the room and see if it was even remotely acceptable. Opened the door about 6 inches and it was atrocious. Went back down to the lobby and this time we had the pleasure of being helped by Shelita at the front desk. She got approval to put us in a suite at the Delano tower with a very small upgrade charge. Thank you Shelita for being so kind and professional !
If I were to stay here again I would definitely stay at the Delano. Room was very nice, staff very helpful and Delia’s for breakfast is very good.
Had drinks and dinner at house of blues. Drinks are delicious (try a specialty cocktail) and not as expensive as I expected. Food was great.
