Spent three nights at the HRH Tower and saw Journey at the Joint. The Joint is a great venue! The rooms at the HRH Tower are really nice (and I am picky)–and really more of a suite. I only have one complaint and that is lighting. This entire hotel is so dark! I get that it’s rock and roll and all but most Journey fans are getting up there and I could not see in the bathroom to get dressed hardly at all. They definitely should put better lighting at least in the bathrooms. Other than that I have no complaints. A lot of reviewers complained about the Rehab pool and getting in, etc. We had no issues at all and all of the staff were very accommodating and pleasant. I think they do have to deal with drunk jerks a lot so if you’re one of those, you probably will get attitude and rightfully so! The beds at any of the pools are easy to come by on most days. There is no extra fee for the beds. Depending on the location, you will need to spend $200-$250 in food and drinks for your whole party for the whole day. It’s really not that bad if you have four people and eat lunch and order drinks at the pool. On an uncrowded day, they even gave us two beds for that and the host was awesome. We had no trouble at all getting around to where we wanted to be. At the Joint, spring for a VIP ticket and you do not have to worry at all about lines, getting there early, etc. And no bouncers checked our bags at all. I imagine they do that for some Rehab partiers on the weekends, but if you look halfway normal they don’t bother you at all. It is a ways from the Strip, but that can either be good or bad depending on what you’re looking for. I would definitely come back and stay again if there is another band we want to see.
