The hotel is clean and usable. Free parking. On Fremont. It’s ok. The rooms are very small and the bathrooms are horrible. For the price it was ok. The dealers after 7 PM are dressed very nicely, great music and energy. The $22 resort fee is outrageous. This is not a resort and the “free” WiFi included didn’t work.
Golden Gate Hotel Casino
1 Fremont Street
Las Vegas, NV
With a heaping helping of turn-of-the-century Las Vegas charm, the Golden Gate Hotel and Casino offers a San Francisco vibe just steps from the Fremont Street Experience. Casino-loving travelers on a budget will eat up this Las Vegas gem, the first in the city to offer the now-famous “Original Shrimp Cocktail” inspired by the iconic Fisherman’s Wharf. Although the hotel opened in 1906, all 106 rooms have been remodelled to reflect a modern sensibility.
