We visit Las Vegas often and have stayed at some of the nicest Hotels (Wynn, New York-New York, Paris and many others), but for cost, convenience and food, the Gold Coast Hotel is a very good alternative. Rooms have been remodeled and are very nice (not suites, like at the Rio next door). They do not have safes, but boxes are available at the front desk. The buffet is very good, prices are very reasonable at TGIF’s and there is a Subway. With your stay you get about 20 coupons per person including free desert at TGIF’s and 15% at Subway. There is a Chinese restaurant also. At the Friday nigh seafood buffet, we have some of the best crab legs we have ever had at a buffet. The convenience of the Parking lot, short wait lines for check-in, and short walking distance to the room elevators make this hotel a great option for us. Lastly, if you join their Player’s Club, you will get free room offers based on your play. Oh…and you can walk across the street to the Rio and take the free Shuttle to the Strip.
