I have rated this hotel before. Something has changed! The room was still very nice and clean. I had requested an accessible King room and made my reservations well over a month in advance as well as paying in advance for one night. Upon arrival I was told there were no King Accessible rooms available to we were given a room with 2 beds (Not the end of the world). Our room was on the 9th floor and had a good distant view but there was a rooftop with HVAC equipment directly below our room. But the girl at the front desk was not friendly at all. The valet and bellman were both nice and helpful. We had an enjoyable 2 night stay. The maid service was very good and we had an issue with an electrical plug and they sent up an engineer and he was also very nice. Upon check-out I was surprised to see that $12.99 + tax had been added to my bill as a “Resort Fee”. When I questioned that the girl at the front desk was very hateful and said “you were told about that when you checked in”. I guess I wasn’t paying attention. I guess the resort fee is to cover things like the pool and exercise room……..which I never used. I apparently also didn’t notice it when I booked the room online. To make a long story short…………THIS PLACE HAS NICE HOTEL ROOMS, VERY AFFORDABLE BUT TERRIBLE FRONT DESK STAFF AND BEWARE……..
