I stayed here 18 months ago when it first opened and really liked it although it was pretty quiet and not up to full speed.
On my return – Tower rooms are now open as is the pool.
Tower rooms same quality as the original building although now have a bathtub / shower rather than walk in shower.
Quality rooms although taken out a few things like no pad / pens which I always find handy.
Commissary Bar / kitchen is good and a cheap happy hour although the place lacks atmosphere – needs more furniture. Can get coffee in the morning.
Pool area is now open – pool is not deep and water was freezing…felt like they were actually chilling it.
Casino never seems to be busy.
Easy walk to Fremont.
Free self parking across the road
Mob museum next door and good restaurants in same street – triple George – check out happy hour and pizza Rock.
Negatives – rooms at the front are more noisy….pick up noise from the street until the early hours.
Resort fee -$20 a day – 2 waters, coffee, Internet
Pool – reserved a lot of the sun beds / loungers for no apparent reason…annoying as people hunted for a place to lie down – this isn’t the Bellagio !!
