Booked this hotel based on good reviews. Rooms were very clean. Really no need for ear plugs that they provided unless you go to bed early. Noise from Fremont Street died down by 2 o’clock a.m. and even before that it was not bothersome. You could barely hear it. Safe provided in room where you could stow your laptop, iPad, and other valuables. The only downfall was no fridge in room and half shower door. I tried the first day and it was too cold for me. Luckily I read reviews before staying here so I purchased prior to my trip at the Dollar Tree Store a shower curtain and suction cups. So my next showers were warmer. Water is hard. You could see the deposits on the shower head and my skin became excessively dry. Now that I’m home with the luxury of my water softener my skin is back to normal. I would not recommend eating at the diner there. Food tasted greasy and no flavor at all. It seemed that the cook didn’t even bother to scrape the grill. I had corned beef hash and potatoes. They were both a little over cooked. My husband had the American Breakfast and he couldn’t eat any of it but the toast. I even tasted his bacon and ugh … grose! You’re better off to go further down Fremont Street more in the local area of Container Park. All in all it was a pleasant experience and I would probably stay there again if I were to stay in the downtown area.
