Went to Vegas on a family trip. Everyone else stayed at MGM on room comps, I was getting my own room so I looked around town and found The Cromwell. Reviews and location seemed very good, and I got a great deal using some points. I have to say the hotel and the staff were exceptional. The place was gut rehabbed 1.5 years ago, and they did a great job with it. The room was nicely updated, the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve had, and the rainfall shower topped things off. The best words to describe the room are sexy and comfortable. I was on the 8th floor and didn’t have any noise issues from the club. My room was towards the back of the hotel, so not directly under the club. I also had somewhat of a view of the Bellagio fountains which was great. All Vegas hotels have a resort fee. I’m not sure about other hotels but theirs includes Wifi which was nice.
I didn’t really care for the casino. It looks great but didn’t have much going on, and the machines seemed to be among the tightest on the strip. But if you’re looking for a clean, stylish, comfortable place to stay you can’t beat it. This is the first place I’m looking at for my next trip.
