Some friends and I recently visited Las Vegas celebrating a landmark birthday for 2 in our group. All of us have been to Las Vegas multiple times and have stayed and played at most of the hotels and casinos on the strip. We are your average gaming group looking for that $5 – $15 table. We were curious to see the changes that the Cromwell had gone through from the days of Bills and Barbary Coast, and they really did a nice job with the renovations. What blew us away was the staff and employees at the gaming tables. They were engaging, friendly and genuine with how they treated us. They went above and beyond to learn our names, the type of drinks we were ordering and generally wanted to see us have a good time. One dealer in particular, Marilou, drew the tough task of dealing to us for a few hours. She was very professional, but also very engaging, polite and would even laugh with us at our stupid jokes. How many times do you play cards and actually remember the name of your dealer? Not only her, but also the pit boss Randy would come over to greet us and make sure all was going well. My experience with the tables has never been like that. Most places have dealers that throw the cards down, collect or distribute chips and a pit boss that just comes over to change dealers if the customer is winning at all. Randy and Marilou showed us that the Cromwell casino is interested in the customer having a fun, engaging experience. By the way, I am not writing this because we won a bunch of money and are just happy about that, no one in our group came out ahead with our time at the Cromwell. But I’ve never enjoyed myself more at the tables. If you enjoy a little time playing at a casino while in Vegas, I highly recommend checking out the Cromwell casino, they treat people right!
Love the boutique feel of this very cool hotel. We had gambled here on a previous visit to Las Vegas and after being told the rooms at the Cromwell were sexy we knew this is where would stay on our next visit. We were not disappointed
