I have stayed at some of the finer hotel rooms in Las Vegas – Wynn/Encore, Aria, suites at Paris, Caesars, Mandalay Bay. and Planet Hollywood – the Cosmopolitan is far and away my favorite place to hang my hat. First off, you will need to be able to walk as the check-in desks are in the back tower, away from the strip. Parking is well thought-out, but watch out for taxis as they will cut you off at the entrance if you are using self-parking or valet. Everyone squeezes into one entrance and it can get quite crowded on weekends and evenings. Once checked in you can relax with a fully equipped room (sink, microwave),most have a real balcony with sliding glass doors to enjoy a comfortable chair overlooking the strip or Bellagio fountains. Service is top notch, more on-prem upscale dining choices than any other strip hotel – in short, don’t miss out if you want to enjoy your Vegas vacation.
A luxurious hot spot in the heart of the Strip, with world-class restaurants and cutting-edge bars, the non-smoking Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, gets top ratings. This five-star resort and casino consists of two 52-foot towers with 2,952 non-smoking rooms. Even the smallest are spacious and decadent, with floor-to-ceiling windows, marble bathrooms, 52-inch flat-panel TVs with premium cable and pillowtop mattresses with luxurious linens. Many rooms sport private balconies overlooking the city skyline.
