Cosmopolitan Hotel Las Vegas

This hotel/casino is very cool for all ages (adults). Wear something nice because this place is beautiful. Was with a group of 25 people, we all enjoyed this place. We had plenty of wins in the casino and drinks and food were top notch. Had a cool kat for a black jack dealer named Will. Had fun at his table he was a good sport with our group. This is on my list of places to stop in Vegas everytime! Bartender’s, Wait staff, and security were all pleasant and helpful.
Thanks for the good times Cosmo!

As huge Vegas hotels go Cosmo is unique in that it has balconies ! With spectacular views on the strip overlooking the bellagio fountains. The room are a nice size with nice amenities.
While we honestly had a few minor annoyances the customer service was outstanding. A few items I can mentioned
It’s a huge place and getting around can provide lots of exercise
Lots of great restaurants
Get a premium view terrace studio room, high floor is better
They are part of Marriot rewards
Pools can get crowded and fill up fast especially on weekends
The casino has higher minimum tables.
The room robes while they say one size, unless you are a petite female it s too small.
They are very diligent on their minibar, you open the fridge or lift a package you will be charged.
They will bring your room a small fridge to put things like water or even a bottle of wine to avoid their exhorbitant in room purchases.
If you are of limited mobility, rent an electric scooter, in any hotel and on he strip you can go anywhere. This is a HUGE tip ! :), even guys without mobility issues rent them. If you need to get a cab that will take your scooter its possible but call ( the bell desk) in advance, depending on time of week, end etc you might have a 15-30 min wait.
As with any strip hotel forget about coffee maker in the room ūüôĀ
While the room was nice and the customer service outstanding, its a huge property, be prepared to walk a lot

Circus Circus Hotel And Casino

This hotel had everything you need to go on vacation and never have to leave the hotel. There is an amusement park, carnival games, several restaurants including fine dining and family friendly like McDonald’s, swimming pools, casino, shopping and many more things to do.

Clean and comfortable, but forget about trying to get any sleep!

I arrived and discovered the package had booked my room not in one of the main towers but the adjacent “manor motor lodge” — a series of low-slung buildings next door Short walk across the parking lot and pretty much just like any run-of-the mill motel.

The room itself was actually decent – clean, comfortable. No cofee maker, no fridge, old tube TV. But 4 am woken up by jetlagged kids next door who were wide awake. Management was very accommodating and moved me down the hall. 3 am, woken up by the couple in the room next door having a nasty breakup. Shouting, doors slammed.

It’s now 7 am and I can hear the couple of the other side of the room. The walls here are paper-thin. I can hear every conversation and follow the plot of every TV show they’re watching.

OK, this isn’t a spa and I didn’t come here for rest and relaxation. But in a city legendary for its nightlife, it’s essential to get some rest in between.

Not here. Not…gonna….happen.

Spend a little more money. Get some real rest. It’s Vegas, and you’re going to need it!

Cannery Casino and Hotel

Spent one night at The Cannery stopped on a Tuesday afternoon checked in at 1 o’clock no problems with early check-in no lines to wait for we got a room on the third floor but about as far away from the elevator as possible next time we will ask for something closer to the elevator as there is only one elevator and it’s an incredibly long walk from where we were. when we got to the room as soon as you open up the door the first thing that we experienced was the smell which was a nice fresh clean smell.. certainly nnot very a fancy room but the beds are comfortable. it was clean ,in the bathroom they do have body wash and shampoo dispensers in the shower Some Like It some don’t I bring my own so it didn’t matter to me one way or the did have an adjustable shower head with decent water pressure which is something I appreciate we spend quite a bit of time in the casino the games we’re pretty Lively we had a lot a lot of play one downside I gambled almost two hours and never had a cocktail waitress come by one finally did come by and I had a beer I tipped her and I wasn’t to see her again……being a Tuesday night it wasn’t crowded at all, at the casino you have a gift shop up in front where you’re better off to go up there and buy yourself a beer or some wine…. our points added up quickly in the casino and they had a promotion Tuesday we had enough points for some air diffusers and by Wednesday morning we had enough points for a couple bottles of vodka and a bottle of wine . Had the buffet Tuesday evening I wasn’t too impressed with it my wife said it was okay I think I’d go down the road to Boulder Station have their Buffet it’s cheaper and I believe it’s better ….but overall the room was clean the gambling was fun and will definitely stay here again

California Hotel Casino

One of my new favorites! Very clean! This place is well run. Whoever hires the staff great job. Had a black jack dealer named Robert really liked his vibe, little stiff at 1st but was great for our group. Enjoyed his overall vibe kept us having fun. Won some money and lost a little but this place is worth spending time at. Is on my list of places to go everytime i go back from now on! Cant wait to stay at the hotel sometime to see if its as great as the casino and restaurants. Biggest regret didn’t get to try the world famous lobster soup. Big thanks for the good time you will be recommended by me!

We just needed a hotel in order to attend a nearby family event, not to do the usual Vegas things, so we were more focused on price than entertainment. The California had fairly reasonable nightly rates, and it was one of the few places not charging a resort fee.

The hotel is older but clean. The rooms were fairly well updated though the bathroom definitely showed its age. I did like the shelving by the vanity for holding everyone’s toiletries. There was also a fridge.

My only complaint about the amenities concerned baby cribs. We had requested one through our online booking site, and did eventually get one. However, the desk clerk wasn’t sure if any were available, and she didn’t even seem to know we had requested one. She pointed out that crib requests aren’t guaranteed, but I don’t know the point of even making the request if the hotel never gets the information.

The hotel is about a block from the Fremont Street Experience, so you can get a bit of the bright lights of Vegas here. My mother-in-law thought the area was sketchy, but I didn’t feel like it was any worse than a downtown hotel in most major cities, especially when you consider we were in Sin City.

We had no idea when we booked the hotel that most of the guests are from Hawaii. It’s a bit of a surprise when you see Hawaiian shirts and “mahalo” everywhere around a hotel called the California. Look up the history online: it’s a fascinating story of how Sam Boyd cornered the market on Hawaiian tourists.

Caesars Palace Las Vegas

Nice property and good location. Service was excellent. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Also has a lot of good restaurants. Had no problems there. Casino very clean. Diamond lounge was nice, but prefer a seven stars lounge.

The overall experience was good, it started off with a bad taste in the mouth from the front desk, clearly she was having a bad day.
When arriving on business or vacation, the last thing a guest needs is attitude, if you do not like your job, find another one.

The rooms were spacious and clean, casino is very posh, stuffy to a point, pit bosses take their job a little to seriously (remember the gamblers are paying your salary).

If looking for a fun good time with friends and want to let loose a little, not the hotel for you, better have a martini and tie on to play here.

Room was awesome. Everything about the room we loved.. augustus tower. We like staying at Ceasars as a family, but this year we had to split up because some family members could not afford to
stay at the rates we were quoted, and some stayed at Flamingo, which they hated.

Boulder Station Hotel Casino

Boulder Station, one of the Las Vegas Station properties, is a neighborhood casino catering to locals and those on budgets. Movie theatres are OK without being flashy or overly lavish. Casino has fairly low ceilings, the standard games, and is pretty smoky. Bingo parlor big and bright. Only tried the buffet out of all the food offerings: a bargain at $10 with a players’ card, and good though certainly not high end. Always pretty busy but I would not take friends here to impress.

We had a satisfactory stay at Boulder Station. I chose it for the great room prices and location near a conference I attended in Las Vegas.

The room was clean, quiet and in good working order. Beds were comfortable. There was no coffee or any sort of hotel guide to services which would have been helpful but that’s minor. We had a good view of the strip and the mountains. No problems with smoky smells from the casino which was great!

We are not gamblers and really spent no time in the casino. We did eat in the hotel restaurants on a couple occasions and had good experiences. There is quite a variety to choose from and prices are reasonable. My kids were also excited to shop in the gift shop, especially when we realized we got a 10% discount as hotel guests! It is small but had some good things to choose from as far as souvenirs, snacks and convenience store-type essentials (Tylenol, tissues, etc)

I was really impressed with the staff here. Every employee we had contact with was friendly, professional and helpful. A good experience and I’d recommend staying here!

Bellagio Hotel And Casino

While the room we got was nice, it wasnt anything special. I found it to be quite dark as well. However, we had a view of the fountains and found out that we can watch the fountains and listen to the music on the tv. That was really neat and romantic. Its central location also helped big time as well. Tried the $20 tip here and got an upgraded view to the fountains vs the back. Worth the $20? Not really, same room just different view. I would much rather stay at aria or cosmo next door.

First time in Las Vegas so we choose to stay at the bellagio. The hotel is amazing. You can have everything you can and you can ask everything you can imagine from ALL THE STAFF who is VERY VERY POLITE. If you can take a corner room in the upper floors….
The Bellagio is one of the most beautiful Hotel in Vegas. It is right beside the Ceasars and the Flamingo, so I would say this is the “middle” of the Strip. If you don’t plan to take a taxi, a limo or the monorail to discover Vegas, the Bellagio is one of the best choice. (Almost) everything in the center of the Strip is in walking distance. And of course the fountain makes it more unique.

This was my 3rd trip to the Bellagio and as always I had an exceptional time.

I was there for a work conference from March 20 – March 24th.

Room – fantastic! It was clean when I arrived and housekeeping did a great job of straightening up everyday and leaving plenty of towels and toiletries.

Convention/buffet food – delicious!!
There were 3500 people at the conference and breakfast and lunch were provided daily. There was plenty of variety and food for everyone.

Check-in – seamless
Check-out – great. I did it via the tv and did not have to go to registration.

Good job Bellagio!

Ballys Las Vegas

Did not stay at Bally’s was t Paris also very nice as far as room and service . However in both places the staff, dealers my host and everyone in general Most pleasant and courteous. I extremely like the convenience of both hotels as I travel with a scooter and it is easy for me to enjoy both hotels

The hotel itself was fine. It was attached to Paris so you could easily maneuver back and forth between hotels easily. I found purchasing a beer or cocktail at a bar reasonably priced compared to other hotels. Our room did have several finger nail clippings and some sun-flower seeds on the floor. Which was a bit concerning and made me wonder how well they cleaned the rest of the room before putting us in it.
Great trip overall. The front desk staff was courteous and professional from check in to check out. Dealers seemed to genuinely want you to have a good time and cocktail service was quick and friendly. Indigo lounge was a cool spot (although expensive) for drinks and to watch games. Rooms were clean and housekeeping did a nice job. Very solid place to stay in a really great location in the middle of the strip. There are places with more amenities and nicer rooms, if that is what you are looking for, but you get what you pay for.

Aria Hotel and Casino Las Vegas

Just got back from a 3 night stay this last weekend. Stayed in a Deluxe King room with a view of the mountains, gave a spectacular view of the sunset each night! I had stayed at the Aria once before in a strip view room, in which I was somewhat disappointed. So I decided to spend the money elsewhere this time.
The room was very nice and comfortable (beds and pillows were heavenly). The location of the Aria is good. A little bit of a walk to the strip, but I enjoyed walking through the Crystal shops.
The weather was warm enough to use the pool one of the days we were there. There are 3 pools, and the Liquid Lounge. One of the pools is for the Sky Suites guest.
Why the 4 stars? The tablet has true potential, but we found ourselves very annoyed it with. One morning, the tablet would not work to open the blackout shades nor turn on the room lights. The room lights wouldn’t even turn on when we flipped the switch. So I called the front desk who would send someone to see what the problem was. After my husband played around with a “master” switch near the door, the controls of the room started working again. We didn’t touch the tablet after that.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Aria. I would definitely consider coming back.
